OLYMPIAD FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
REGULATION
on the organization and conduction of the Olympiad on the subjects of
Turkmen History, Mathematics, Turkmen Language, and English Language,
titled “Watanyň daýanjy-bilimli ýaşlar, Arkadagly Gahryman Serdaryň
guwanjy ýaşlar! (Educated Youth – Pillar of the Motherland, Pride of Hero
Arkadagly Serdar!)” dedicated to the Knowledge Day proclaimed by the
United Nations. The event will be held among 12th-grade students of
secondary schools in Turkmenistan, organized by the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in
cooperation with the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.
In accordance with the State Program for the Youth Policy of Turkmenistan for
2021-2025, as well as orders by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan dated
February 14, 2023 (No. 49) and July 21, 2023 (No. 291), Regulation on organizing
and conducting the Olympiad titled “Watanyň daýanjy-bilimli ýaşlar,
Arkadagly Gahryman Serdaryň guwanjy ýaşlar! (Educated Youth – Pillar of
the Motherland, Pride of Hero Arkadagly Serdar!)” dedicated to the
Knowledge Day proclaimed by the United Nations among 12th-grade students
of secondary schools in Turkmenistan on the subjects of history, mathematics,
Turkmen language, English language, was developed and prepared on the
purpose to identify talented youth and create conditions for them, find their proper
place in society and in order to increase their talents, broaden their horizons, and
instill a sense of patriotism.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
These regulations define the rules and procedures for organizing and conducting the Olympiad. The primary goal is to identify talented and capable youth loyal to
the nation, the people, and the President of Turkmenistan. The Olympiad seeks to
assess the intellectual level of school students and identify individuals capable of
solving complex problems independently and utilizing innovative technologies
within Turkmenistan’s growing market economy.
Objective of the Olimpiad
To discover talented school students, evaluate their abilities related to their chosen
professions, and determine their academic level in the subjects required for
entrance exams.
Organization and Procedures of Olimpiad
1. All 12th-grade students in secondary schools across Turkmenistan are eligible to
participate in this Olimpiad. Students must submit their application materials by
March 20, 2025, to the email address: hgi.charetm@gmail.com. Confirmation of
registration will be sent to participants by March 28, 2025, along with the date and
time of the competition.
Schedule for the First Round and Open Day Events:
a. March 31, 2025: Ashgabat, Arkadag Cities, and Ahal velayat – Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
b. March 31, 2025: Balkan velayat– Balkanabat Petroleum Secondary
Vocational School
c. March 31, 2025: Dashoguz velayat – Turkmen Agricultural Institute
d. March 31, 2025: Lebap velayat – S. Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical
Institute
e. March 31, 2025: Mary velayat – Turkmen State Energy Institute
2. Students who succeed in Round-1 will be provided with a login and password to
participate in Round-2 via remote testing.

e. April 14, 2025: Mary velayat – Turkmen State Energy Institute
Procedure for determining and awarding winners
1. The list of winners achieving the highest scores will be approved by an order of
the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of Turkmenistan.
2. Winners in the first, second, and third places, as well as incentive awardees, will
receive Certificates of Recognition and souvenirs from the Central Council of the
Magtymguly Youth Organization. The awards ceremony will take place during the
Open Day event on April 30, 2025, at the Institute.
