A SESSION WITH MEMBERS OF THE SCHOOL OF YOUNG DIPLOMATS WAS HELD
On November 28, 2025, a session was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with members of the School of Young Diplomats, organized by the “Lingvo World” and “EcoClub” clubs of the Institute’s Department of World Languages. The session focused on the topic “The Role of Foreign Languages in International Relations.”
During the session, the lecturers of the Department of World Languages, Annagul Hekimova and Maya Charyyeva, spoke about the key role of foreign languages in international relations. As is well known, language proficiency is an indispensable tool of diplomacy, intercultural communication, and cooperation between states. Mastery of languages helps overcome barriers and build trusting relationships, which is essential for maintaining peace and stability. In addition, during the conversation with the students, the lecturers highlighted the importance of Turkmenistan’s neutral status and conducted a small quiz.
At the end of the session, the students asked their questions it interest and received detailed answers for them.
