Another round of methodological events organized for Russian language teachers abroad has been completed
Russian Cooperation Agency and Autonomous Non-Profit Organization of Continuing Professional Education “International Institute for Occupational Safety” held a series of methodological events for teachers of the Russian language abroad, including from Turkmenistan, in the distance format "Organization of course training of the Russian language as a foreign language abroad".
The training program included modules “Specifics of organizing course training: short-term and intensive courses”, “Intensive methods of teaching the Russian language”, “Educational and methodological literature for course and individual training”, “Use of electronic educational resources in course teaching.” Training materials were provided to participants of methodological events online on the project page, as well as through webinars. Training under the program took place in several streams.
From October 21 to October 28, 2023, Instructor of the Russian language at the Department of World Languages at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Tylla Babaeva, was trained in the third series of methodological events for Russian language teachers abroad in a distance format. The project’s online platform brought together more than 300 foreign Russian language teachers.
During the week, foreign Russian specialists studied the features of intensive methods of teaching the Russian language, discussed current problems of organizing course training and the use of electronic educational resources.
Project participants got acquainted with new methodological developments and modern literature for teaching the Russian language.
Based on the results of the methodological events, participants were given certificates.
