A HUMAN RIGHTS TRAINING SEMINAR WAS HELD
On March 17, 2026, a training session on human rights was held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Central Asia. Students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the International University for Humanities and Development participated in the event.
The session was led by Mr. Erkin Isakulov, Human Rights Advisor at the OHCHR Regional Office for Central Asia. Mr. Isakulov presented detailed information on the key concepts of human rights and the international instruments that form the basis of this field, covering the topics «The UN Human Rights System» and «Standards of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities».
Regularly conducting such training sessions significantly contributes to expanding students knowledge of international law and human rights.
