ONLINE SEMINAR WAS HELD
On March 17, 2026, students and teachers of the Faculty of International Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in an online seminar held by the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. The head of the Department of Social Studies of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, senior lecturer Ayjeren Tagandurdyeva, made a speech on the topic “Legal Regulation of Specially Protected Natural Areas”. During the seminar, a discussion was organized based on the programmatic instructions in the field of environmental protection aimed at effective management of nature use and nature protection activities in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Specially Protected Natural Areas”, sustainable ecological development and Turkmenistan’s active participation in international cooperation on nature protection.
In addition, at the end of the seminar, it was stated that the system of Specially Protected Natural Areas of Turkmenistan is a part of the world’s specially protected natural areas and includes 39 areas of various levels of the international classification of specially protected natural areas. The impressive information presented during the speeches made a special impression on the participants of the online seminar.
