Seminar Titled “Innovative Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages"
On January 27, 2022, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a seminar on “Innovative methods of teaching foreign languages” organized by the Department of World Languages with the participation of school teachers of the country. At the seminar held on the peculiarities of teaching foreign languages, the implemention of the Concept for the Improvement of Teaching Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan, senior lecturers of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Lecturer of the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan G. Maag, English Language Instructor of the International University for the Humanities and Development G. Gylychmyradova and post-graduate student of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages G. Gurbanmammedova.
The participants exchanged views on new methods and best practices in teaching foreign languages. The seminar was very interesting and effective. New methods of teaching foreign languages to learners of different ages were widely discussed. The teachers exchanged experiences on the organization of various games, role plays, discussions, debates, the use of songs, poems, videos, computers, the Internet, instructional materials and educational technologies in language lessons.
Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine a professional who does not foreign languages. This is because the third millennium in human history is a time of rapid development of science and technology. Thanks to the special efforts of our Hero Arkadag, the scientific and educational system in our country is being developed in a comprehensive and harmonious manner in accordance with the requirements of the present time. The positive results of the reforms in the education system of the country are even more evident in the economic and cultural development of our country, the increase in the intellectual level of our people.
I wish our esteemed President, who creates all the opportunities for the younger generation to become highly educated and skilled professionals, long and happy life.
