TURKMEN-GEORGIAN ONLINE CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO BILATERAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION
On November 20, 2024 an online training course was held with the representatives of Sukhumi State University in Tbilisi, Georgia and education experts from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting was dedicated to the development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of education. It was attended by professors, teachers and students of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy.
At present, the elevation of our national education system to international standards contributes to the successful resolution of comprehensive tasks. The establishment of high-level cooperation with international organizations and leading scientific and educational centers worldwide is clear evidence to the special attention being given to the development of this system.
In this context, as part of the President's successful foreign policy strategy, agreements and co-operation in science and education are reaching a qualitatively new level. During the online conference, both sides expressed their interest in expanding educational and research opportunities, and emphasized that such meaningful consultations are a good opportunity to share experiences and train future international specialists. The questions and answers of the professor and teachers as well as students confirmed once more the significance of online training course.
The online conference marked new steps in the development of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation in in the field of education, identifying important and effective areas of interaction between higher education institutions of the two friendly countries.
