A training session on economic diplomacy
On May 17, 2023, at the Training Center for Important Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan a training session on the topic “National interests and trade diplomacy in the economic diplomacy of Turkmenistan” has been held for the students of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
The lesson was conducted by Sulgun Nepesova, a lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. There were some speech about the concept of diplomacy, its importance in ensuring the harmonious development of International relations, and the possibilities of developing Economic cooperation as an important direction of Turkmenistan's foreign policy.
Currently, our country is conducting friendly, friendly and mutually advantageous cooperation with the countries of the world based on the policies of positive neutrality and "Open doors". Taking into account the changes taking place on the earth, Trade and Economic Relations and multifaceted cooperation between the states, the development of trade and Economic diplomacy not only in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region, but also with the more developed countries of the world, Turkmenistan successfully conducts Trade and Economic diplomacy in the region and around the world. The concept of diplomacy is very important in ensuring the smooth development of International Relations. It was also highlighted that the role of Economic Diplomacy in protecting national interests in international cooperation.
The national interests of Economic diplomacy in international cooperation were highlighted. During the lesson, the students exchanged questions and answers with the lecturer. The continuous conduct of such classes contributes to the formation of a comprehensive understanding of Economic diplomacy among students.
