AN ONLINE SEMINAR ON INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY WAS HELD
On May 31, 2025, an online seminar on International Children’s Day was
held under the auspices of the UNESCO Club “Akhalteke Horses – Ambassadors
of Peace” of the Aba Annayev International Horse Breeding Academy.
Representatives of UNESCO clubs and chairs of higher educational institutions of
our country and UNESCO Associated Schools, as well as, A. Ovezova, Head of
the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace” of the Institute of International Relations of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, participated in the seminar and
made presentations via the digital system.
As is known, June 1, International Children’s Day, is included in the list of
official holidays of our country as a manifestation of solidarity with the world
community, commitment to the fundamental goals and principles of the United
Nations Organization on the rights and interests of children. This holiday is
celebrated with great pride in our country. At this seminar, speeches were made
about the historical significance of International Children’s Day and the special
attention paid to this holiday in our country.
The participants of this seminar expressed their gratitude to our Hero
Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who have made our Turkmenistan a place of
happy children and for great work in protecting children’s health. They wished our
Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar good health and long life.
