TESOL CONFERENCE
On August 19-21, 2025, International University for the Humanities and Development hosted a conference organized by TESOL International Association on Technology, Teaching and Transformation with English Language Capacity Development Program. Participants from educational institutions of our country attended the conference. They were provided by sessions and presentations of experienced educators and language teaching specialists from Turkmenistan and the USA.
There were discussions focusing on topics such as project-based and active learning strategies to enhance communicative competence, fostering student success by integrating innovative teaching methods, creating inclusive learning environments and dynamic learning spaces that empower both students and teachers, as well as sparking language learning and advancing global collaboration in language education and other significant ones. And such interesting presentations as: “Global skills for 21st Century Learners”, “Practical Strategies for Increasing Analytical Thinking”, “5 Practical Steps towards Learners-Centered Teaching”, “Innovations and Trends in English Language Teaching”, “Assessment for Learning: Formative Approaches in English Language Education”, “Authentic Instruction as a Best Practice for Teachers in Turkmenistan” and other effective ones were given. There were enough opportunity for interaction or questions and answers among participants during the sessions and presentations.
Carrying out such events is of great importance for educators on their professional growth, even more relevant and valuable for their teaching community.
