On November 3, 2021, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) organized an International Conference on the Prevention and Elimination of Statelessness in the Central Asian Region. A training course was held. The event was attended by the winners of the competition "Young Ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals", students of the International University for Humanities and Development and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The online course on statelessness was based on scientific reports from foreign experts, mainly on globalization and international experience in the field of statelessness. During the course, representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) received questions and answers from students through a digital system.
The active participation of teachers and students in human rights training courses greatly contributes to the further development and improvement of their knowledge of international law.
