Scientific-Practical Conference Was Held
On August 28, 2026, a Conference titled "Ylymly-bilimli ýaşlar - Garaşsyz, baky Bitarap Türkmenistanyň geljegi" Educated and Knowledgable Youth-The Future of Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Organized in honor of the upcoming Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, the event brought together institute leadership, faculty members, students, and representatives from various state institutions.
The conference began with a plenary session focused on key preparations for the start of the new academic year on September 1. Discussions emphasized maximizing the use of modern infrastructure and opportunities provided to higher education institutions to ensure students receive a high-quality, comprehensive education. Speakers highlighted the essential role of science and education in driving economic growth and supporting global well-being, while also reinforcing every citizen’s fundamental right to education.
Following the opening session, the conference proceeded across four targeted breakout groups. Discussions centered on: International cooperation in science and education; The role of legal literacy in maintaining a sustainable state; International economic relations in educational development; Ongoing educational reforms in Turkmenistan.
Section leaders guided academic presentations on integrating innovative technologies and modern teaching methodologies across the country’s educational framework.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan for their continued support of higher education and youth development.
