An OSCE training seminar was held
From October 10 to 13, 2023, a training seminar on the preparation of television programs on environmental issues was held, organized of the city of Ashgabat Center of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). It was attended by international experts, representatives of our country’s television channels, and teachers from higher educational institutions.
Speakers during the seminar noted that nowadays a lot of work is being done in the country to protect the environment and ensure the environmental well-being, the efficient us age of water and land resources, the preservation of biological diversity and natural features, the creation of green areas, and solving problems associated with climate change. As already mentioned, the activities carried out in the field of sustainable environmental protection in our country confirm that the state fully complies with the international obligations undertaken in this regard.
Also during the seminar, speeches were made on creating ample opportunities in the modern informational society to improve journalistic education, improve the professional level and skills of media representatives, prepare news from national experts, interesting television programs, and fully perform their duties. During the conference, an exchange of ideas and experience took place on issues of access to information, copyright, dissemination of prepared news of political and social significance amongst the population through television and radio stations, and daily publications.
