A SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD
On June 23, 2025, a scientific-practical conference entitled "The World of Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy: Development of International Cooperation in the Cultural and Humanitarian Sphere" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, and the Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy. Professors, teachers and students of the institute, along with employees of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan attended the conference.
During the conference, participants delivered insightful presentations covering various topics, including the principles of neutrality, peace, mutual trust, and national culture. Speakers also delved into Magtymguly Pyragy’s profound influence on Turkmen-Chinese cultural relations, highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy in the International Year of Peace and Trust, and diplomacy within Magtymguly Pyragy’s poetric works.
Following the plenary session, the conference continued its work in the sections: “The Significance of Magtymguly Pyragy’s Creativity on a Global Scale”;
“The Principles of the Spiritual Life of a Civilized Society”;
“The Role of Economic Diplomacy in the Development of Cultural and Humanitarian Relations of Turkmenistan”;
“The Literary Heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy is an Inexhaustible Source of the National Spirit of the Turkmen People.”
At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the esteemed President, who creates extensive opportunities for the development of the history, culture and traditions of the Turkmen people.
