ONLINE MEETING WITH INDIA – CENTRAL ASIA FOUNDATION
On March 30, 2024, an online meeting was held between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the India – Central Asia Foundation.
Rector Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, professor, Ambassador Amangeldi Rakhmanov, Senior Lecturers of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department Begench Karayev and Merdan Berdiniyazov and Senior Lecturer of the World Language Department Gapbar Hallyev presented the Institute of International Relations. The President of the India – Central Asia Foundation Dr. Ramakant Dwivedi, Vice-president, Ambassador Ashok Kumar Sharma and Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma participated from the Indian side.
During the meeting, the sides were acquainted with the comments and suggestions of each side about the content of the “Joint Study Proposal between India – Central Asia Foundation and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan”. In addition, the sides discussed some issues on further development of cooperation in the fields of co-organizing seminars, conducting scientific and practical researches and mutual invitations to participate in academic activities as well as exchanging of curricula.
At the end of the meeting, both sides supported all suggestions and comments and expressed deep interest in in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
