An online course was held
On December from 10 to 11, 2024, an online course titled "International Commercial and Investment Arbitration" was held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat as part of the USAID's "Management in Turkmenistan" project.
Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Supreme Court, and the Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, as well as teachers and students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, and the International University of the Humanities and Development participated in this event.
The course aimed to provide in-depth study of international commercial and investment arbitration, with a particular focus on the New York Convention and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Participants discussed current issues related to the practical implementation of these international agreements in the context of developing trade relations in Central Asia.
