A training session devoted to the Sustainable Development goals has been held
On February 18, 2021, a consecutive training session on Sustainable Development Goals has been held with participation of Young SDG ambassadors, as well as students of the specialized school No.21. During the course, Particular attention has been paid to Sustainable Development Goal 9, which is aimed at building resilient infrastructure, promoting sustainable industrialization and fostering innovation. Inclusive and sustainable industrialization, together with innovation and infrastructure, can unleash dynamic and competitive economic forces that generate employment and income. They play a key role in introducing and promoting new technologies, facilitating international trade and enabling the efficient use of resources.
Innovation and technological progress are key to finding lasting solutions to both economic and environmental challenges, such as increased resource and energy-efficiency. In the course of the session the importance of achieving the goal 9 is highlighted. In addition, question and answer session has been organized, where schoolchildren had an opportunity to ask questions that interest them.
