The Farewell Ceremony of Turkmen Athletes to XXXIII Summer Olympic Games
On July 22, 2024, in the Basha-Bash martial arts sports complex on the territory of the Olympic City, with the participation of representatives of the public, the media, sports experts, athletes and young students, a solemn ceremony was held to see off the Olympic team of Turkmenistan, consisting of 19 people, to the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, which will take place in France, in Paris, on July 26, 2024.
As noted earlier, the athletes who will represent Turkmenistan at the Olympic Games have improved their skills thanks to the Organizing Committee created by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan. According to the invitation of the head of the International Olympic Committee, Turkmenistan will be represented in four sports: judo, weightlifting, athletics and swimming.
