REGULAR LESSON IN WATER DIPLOMACY
On October 16, 2024, a regular training course on «Water Diplomacy» of the Training Center for Priority Areas in Diplomacy of Turkmenistan was held by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The training course was conducted by G.Charygulyeva, Deputy Head of the Information Security and Analysis Department of the Caspian Sea Institute of Turkmenistan.
This training course was held on the topic «Role of Water Diplomacy in Central Asia». G. Charygulyyeva emphasized that improving water cooperation, especially, the dissemination of environmentally safe technologies in transboundary areas. It is an important way to advance water cooperation at all levels in order to achieve agreements on water goals at the international level. She also told about Water Diplomacy of Central Asia in the field of environmental protection and the main issues arising on the way to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the role of multilateral institutions and their cooperation in ensuring environmental protection.
The regular course on «Water Diplomacy» was very effective for the students and they found answers to their questions.
