THE NEXT SEMINAR TOOK PLACE
On February 26, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a seminar of the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year on "Water Diplomacy", organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
The seminar, attended by the first-year students of all faculties of our institute, was conducted by Merjen Gurbannazarova, a senior lecturer of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the seminar, senior lecturer M. Gurbannazarova provided a detailed overview of the ongoing efforts in water diplomacy within our country. She discussed initiatives aimed at uniting the global community’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, which are among the top priorities of the policy of our esteemed President. These include environmental protection, responsible stewardship of natural resources, preservation of wealth for future generations, and the rational use of land and water resources to ensure favorable living conditions for the Turkmen people.
At the end of the seminar, students engaged in discussions with the lecturer, addressing topics of interest to them.
