Seedling planting event
On November 24, 2021, students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in a seedling planting event. As you know, under the leadership of the esteemed President, a lot of work is being done to protect the environment and ensure environmental cleanliness in our country.
Under the leadership of the esteemed President, a lot of work is carrying out in the field of environmental protection and ensuring environmental cleanliness in our country. Annually in our country with wise initiative of our national Leader, is held the national planting ceremony.
This event, which has become a noble tradition, is held annually dedicated to the glorious holidays of our country.
In 2020, 25 million saplings were planted across the our country to mark the 25th anniversary of our Eternal Neutrality. And in 2021, 30 million orchards were planted in our Motherland in honor of 30th anniversary of our Independence.
Recently, on the instructions of the esteemed President, a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, attended the 26th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow, in the Scottish Conference Center. At this forum, the concrete initiatives of our country, which is aimed to combining the efforts of the international community in adapting to the effects of climate change and reducing its adverse effects were warmly supported by participants to the conference. The positive initiatives of our esteemed President in the field of ecology in the international arena are unanimously supported by the states of the world.
