Trainings sessions for Young Ambassadors of Preventive Diplomacy
On May 26, 2021, started the first educational training for finalists of the competition "Young Ambassador of the Preventive diplomacy "organized by the Regional Center for preventive diplomacy for Central Asia. Totally 36 finalists from countries of Central Asia, including Afghanistan were chosen to participate in the training. Two students from our Institute, third year student of International Law faculty Atajan Rozybayev and second year student of International Relations faculty Serdar Rakhymov had luck to be selected to a final tour and participate in online activities.
At the beginning of online-meeting finalists were warmly congratulated by Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Central Asia - Natalia German. Then they were asked about their life goals and got chance to be acquainted with graduates of Academy of Preventive Diplomacy, who shared their wide experience. Later, Project Associate of Preventive Diplomacy Academy - Aziz Kuliev made a presentation about importance of preventive diplomacy. At the process of meeting participants were given different tests in which they should have given their opinion about role about preventive diplomacy, what in their opinion is the best way of prevention of conflicts and etc.
