A new model of friendly relations
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a state visit to our country on October 24-25, 2021. About 20 bilateral documents were signed during the visit of the President of the neighbouring country to Turkmenistan. Also, during the meetings, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The signing of this Memorandum will make a worthy contribution to strengthening relations in the Turkmen-Kazakh cultural-humanitarian sphere.
It is worth noting that the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is on the list of the 200 best universities in the world. This university of the Republic of Kazakhstan currently cooperates with more than 400 international universities around the world. About 400 Turkmen students study at the university.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan envisages the future cooperation of teachers on important issues of international and regional relations, international law, world economy, political communication and internet journalism. In addition, cooperation will be held in the areas of organizing seminars, conducting scientific and practical conferences and research, inviting each other to participate in academic events, exchange articles, study and instruction manuals, curricula, etc.
The conclusion of such agreements will further strengthen the relations between the teaching staff and students of these higher educational institutions of the two friendly countries.
