Celebration Dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Our Permanent Neutrality
On March 12, 2025, an artistic and musical event titled "Neutrality – the
Foundation of Unity" was held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama
Theater in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality
and the International Year of Peace and Trust. The event was attended by faculty
members and students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the
International University for the Humanities and Development, and the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well
as cultural figures and representatives of mass media. The event was jointly
organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture of
Turkmenistan.
As is well known, this year marks a significant milestone – the 30th
anniversary of our country’s Permanent Neutrality, a major political event in
Turkmenistan’s history. This anniversary serves as a grand celebration that
showcases the success of our peaceful foreign policy to the world. The
International Year of Peace and Trust aligns with this historic date, bringing
significant events and great achievements.
In this context, the artistic and musical event conveyed the universal
significance of Turkmenistan’s peace-oriented principles through stage
performances. Notably, performances inspired by the book "The Music of Peace,
the Music of Friendship and Brotherhood" by Hero-Arkadag added a special
meaning to the celebration. The performances by students and well-known theater
artists provided the audience with deep spiritual enjoyment.
