A LIFE DEDICATED TO DIPLOMACY
On July 25, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan a ceremony hosted in honor of the 80th anniversary of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Master Diplomat of Turkmenistan, Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Professor Amangeldy Rahmanov. The event was attended by the head staff of the Institute, teaching staff and mentor diplomats.
During the ceremony, the speakers first congratulated mentor-diplomat Amangeldy Rahmanov on his 80th birthday. Gifts were presented on behalf of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Speakers at the event emphasized that the master diplomat of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Amangeldy Rahmanov has done great things in the implementation of the country's foreign policy over the years. In their speeches, they noted that the honored diplomat, being a loyal son of the people, devoted his entire life and successes to serving the Motherland, protecting the national interests of his country at the international level, in particular, the work done during his first representation in the UN on behalf of independent Turkmenistan.
It was also proudly noted and confirmed by some actual examples that during his career at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Amangeldy Rahmanov shared his experience gained in the diplomatic service with students and even lecturers and supported them in becoming competent diplomats.
At the end of the event, the participants wished the honored diplomat great success in his scientific activities, as well as in his work on the education of youth.
