An Online Meeting was held to Discuss Environmental Protection and Water Diplomacy
On December 23, 2024, professors and teachers from Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Somalia’s higher educational institutions participated in online conference focusing on environmental protection and water diplomacy.
Representatives from Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in the online meeting. Meylis Gylyshayev, a lecturer of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Institute of International Relations, and Nazar Meredov, a lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations made speeches on the topics “The Importance of Water Diplomacy in Central Asia” and “Economics as a Potent Tool for Tackling Climate Change".
Participants shared their views, highlighting the significance of environmental protection and water diplomacy.
