Methodological consultation “Main Directions of Further Improvement of Teaching Foreign Languages”
On September 5, 2024, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, a methodological conference entitled “Main Directions of Further Improvement of Teaching Foreign Languages” was held at Dovletmamed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages on the results of assessing the level of foreign language mastery of students in higher and vocational education institutions of Turkmenistan.
Maya Atajanova, Osman Hemzayev and Maya Chariyeva, instructors of the Department World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, took part in the meeting along with the teachers of higher and vocational schools of the country. During the conference, speeches were made on the activities based on the tasks set in “Concept of Improving Teaching of Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan”, on developing the educational system in accordance with the requirements of modern life, the results achieved in improving the methodology of teaching foreign languages, the achievements of international cooperation in the education system of the country, the formation of the digital environment of education and the use of innovative educational technologies. Moreover, issues such as development of the digital education system in Turkmenistan, methods of teaching in accordance with the concepts of improving the teaching foreign languages, assessment of the level of foreign language mastery of students in vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan were considered.
At the end of the conference, participants conveyed their gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen nation, to our Hero, Arkadagly Serdar for cares of the nation, for cares in developing country’s well-beings and wished them sound strong and prosperity.
