Ashgabat hosted the first meeting of the seventh convocation of the Mejlis
On April 6, the first meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation was held at the Center for Public Organizations with the participation of the Respected President. As is known, as a result of the elections held on March 26, 125 deputies were elected to the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. At the first meeting of the seventh convocation of the Mejlis, the Chairman of the Mejlis, his deputy, heads of committees of the Mejlis were elected from among the deputies of the Mejlis, and the main tasks of the deputies were determined. At the meeting, D. Gulmanova, a deputy from the 5th Parakhachylyk constituency of the city of Ashgabat, was elected chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis was elected deputy of the 77th "Farap" constituency of the Lebap velayat G. Roziev. Arkadag Serdar signed the Laws of Turkmenistan on the election of D. Gulmanova to the post of Chairman of the Mejlis and G. Roziev to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis. According to Article 3 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Mejlis of Turkmenistan", the powers of the deputies of the new convocation are recognized at the first meeting of the Mejlis.
