THE TURKMEN DELEGATION IS ON A STUDY VISIT TO SOUTH KOREA
The delegation from Turkmenistan is participating in a study tour to the Republic of South Korea from July 14th to 27th, 2024. On behalf of the Turkmen delegation, a group of 3 specialists participated in the training program “Improving the knowledge of local government bodies on human rights in Asia” organized by the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Allaberdi Orazmuhammedov, a senior researcher at the Institute of Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, Govher Berdiyeva, the first secretary of the Asia-Pacific Region Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, and Gulsenem Hommadova, a teacher at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan are the team members of Turkmen delegation. They also plan to organize tours to the historical and cultural monuments of the host country based on the plan of KOICA.
During the visit, delegations from various countries will exchange knowledge by presenting on their respective legal systems. Turkmenistan’s representative, Gulsenem Hommadova, will be sharing insights on human rights, democratic principles, foreign relations of the country and intergovernmental cooperation.
This learning exchange between Turkmenistan and South Korea is expected to continue until the end of July 2024.
