An interesting meeting with the students
On May 15, 2024, the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia, Terhi Hakala visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and gave a lecture to students of the institute on occasion of 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and European Union.
At the meeting, Ms. Terhi Hakala introduced students to the activities, structure, goals and objectives of the European Union. She also emphasized the strong relations between Turkmenistan and the European Union in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. In addition, the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Pęksa had a speech on works of Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan.
In conclusion, the students asked interesting questions to the guests and received interesting answers.
