The Highest Reward – The Highest Trust
On December 10, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, an awarding ceremony was held for the heads of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of the country, as well as delegations at international organizations. They were honored with the Magtymguly International Prize, the jubilee medal "300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi," and commemorative signs of Turkmenistan, as decreed by our esteemed President. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats, faculty members, and students of the Institute.
The participants began the ceremony by expressing their grattitude to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for receiving the jubilee medal and commemorative signs "300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi." They wished the head of state good health, a long life, and continued success in all endeavors aimed at benefiting the people.
According to the documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan, the ceremony included awarding the Magtymguly International Prize to Aksoltan Atayeva, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN, and Chynar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO. These honors recognized their significant contributions to studying and promoting the historical development of the country, its national culture, literary heritage, and the creativity of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi, as well as their efforts in educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and humanity.
This year, the 300th anniversary of the great poet has garnered wide international attention. Extensive work has been undertaken both in Turkmenistan and abroad to study and promote the rich literary heritage of this master of words, whose contributions to the spiritual culture of humanity form the foundation of national education in morality, humanism, and patriotism. In this context, Natalia German, Executive Director of the UN Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate, was awarded the jubilee medal "300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi" and a commemorative badge for her exceptional contributions to fostering cultural ties, bringing cultures closer together, and strengthening friendship and cooperation among peoples.
The awards presented on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi are a testament to the work of Turkmen diplomats in developing and enriching Turkmenistan’s cultural connections with the world and international organizations, as well as promoting friendship and cooperation among nations. Over 40 employees of the national diplomatic service were also solemnly awarded the jubilee medal "300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi" and commemorative signs.
The awarded diplomats expressed their gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their high trust, emphasizing their determination to continue working diligently for the prosperity of the Motherland.
