Training Course in the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan completed
On November 10, 2023, third-year students of the Faculty of International Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan conducted a mobile training course on the subject of “International Humanitarian Law” at the National Society of the Red Crescent of Turkmenistan. During the lectures, they noted that the Movement of the National Society is independent and neutral, saves the life and dignity of people with humanitarian aid, and helps them. They also gave some information about this society, emphasizing that it adheres to 7 principles. Moreover, this national society, which one of the main humanitarian public organizations in the country, is actively involved in the social and economic reforms taking place in our country in a new historical era. It carries out a lot of activities in the areas of ensuring the safety of citizens, protecting public health, strengthening the level of the family institution, and educating the younger generation in the spirit of the best traditions of the Turkmen people, such as having compassion, empathy and help to each other.
The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan was created in 1926 and managed to maintain its goals for humanity, goodness and justice bequeathed by our ancestors. The National Society carries out its work throughout the country, through its velayat, city and etrap branches. In general, the path of this organization is connected with the history of Turkmenistan from the first days of its creation to the present day.
