MY GLORIOUS HISTORY – AN EXAMPLE TO IMPLEMENT
On November 4, 2021, a scientific seminar in English entitled “My Glorious History – an Example to Implement” was organized by the members of the Scientific Club “Wisdom and Intellect” of the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the seminar, Ayna Baymuradova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, noted the President’s tireless efforts to ensure that our young people get modern education, and emphasized the importance of history, especially Turkmen history, in educating the younger generation in the patriotic spirit. The teacher also spoke about great scientist Mahmud Zamakhshari and gave a detailed information on the scientist’s achievements in science and his exemplary way of life.
During the seminar, Dilnoza Muhadova, second-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, and Akgozel Rasulova, second-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, delivered scientific speeches in English describing the glorious history of the Turkmen people.
The topics of the future seminars were discussed with the members of the Club “Wisdom and Intellect”. In addition, a competition called “Khan of the Great Mughal State – Bayram Khan” was announced and the conditions of the competition were introduced.
The results of the event were summed up by the head of the department of social sciences, Senior Lecturer, Ph.D. Ogulgurban Ezimova. She encouraged students to take an active part in the work of the club, intensively study foreign languages, and conduct scientific research in areas of interest to them.
