A Conference on Methods for Analyzing Journals in SCOPUS
On May 31, 2024, the International University for Humanities and Development held an online tutorial on the topic “Methods for Analyzing Journals in SCOPUS.” Professors of the higher educational institutions of the country, including the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, participated in the conference through the digital network.
The conference was held in accordance with the “Procedure for conducting training-methodical consultations and seminars to improve the ongoing work on including the higher educational institutions of the country in the list of the world’s prestigious HEI, to publish articles in international scientific and technical information sources (platforms), indexed journals, to improve the concepts related to various bibliometric indicators” approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
At the conference, methods of analyzing journals in SCOPUS, one of the world’s largest scientific publications, were discussed in detail. As mentioned above, this academic publication is known for publishing world-famous scientific literature, as well as bibliographic references. In this regard, special attention was paid to the issue of promoting mutual cooperation, and representatives of the scientific community of the country showed great interest in the issues on the agenda.
