"Young Messengers of Peace": The IV season has been launched
On October 30, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held the 1st qualifying
game of the 4th season of the intelligence competition "Young
Messengers of Peace".
As we know, more than 800 high school students from different parts of
the country took part in the selection tests for the IV season of the
intelligence competition "Young Messengers of Peace" organized by the
School of Young Diplomats operating at the National School of
Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The number of young people willing to
participate in the competition is increasing year by year, which is a clear
evidence of their growing interest in the peaceful foreign policy of the
Neutral Turkmenistan.
The IV season of the "Young Messengers of Peace" intellectual
competition was held on the occasion of the declaration of "2025 - the
year of international peace and trust" by the initiative of neutral
Turkmenistan by the special resolution of the UN General Assembly
"Peace-making diplomacy of neutral Turkmenistan: effective
cooperation" and a reliable tool for sustainable development. The first
qualifying game of this season was dedicated to the theme "Foreign
policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan: from glorious history to future".
In the 1st qualifying game of the IV season of the intellectual
competition "Young Messengers of Peace" participated Sanjar
Shohradov, a 12th-grade student of the Specialized General Education
Boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat,
Maysa Allanazarova a 12th-grade student of the 74th specialized
"Bagtyýar Nesiller" secondary school in Ashgabat, which teaches foreign
languages in depth, Ihlas Agoyliev, a 12th-grade student of Ashgabat
city's 49th secondary school, which teaches in-depth English and
mathematics subjects, Timur Masharipov, a 12th-grade student of
Ashgabat city's 98th secondary school, Mahri Durdynazarova, 12th grade
student of the 46th secondary school of Ak Bugday Etrap, Ahal Velayat,
Kurmammet Nobatov, a 12th-grade student of the 17th secondary
school of Balkanabat city, Balkan velayat, Arzuv Shykhyeva, a 12th-grade
student of the 24th secondary school specialized in foreign languages in
Dashoguz city, Dashoguz province, Aygul Amangeldiyeva, a 12th-grade
student of the 28th secondary school specializing in precise and natural
routes in Turkmenabat city, Lebap velayat.
Senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations and
Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, candidate of philosophical sciences,
Begenc Karaev, scientific secretary of the Institute of Language,
Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the
Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical sciences
Kakajan Zhanbekov, and senior lecturer of the World History
Department of Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly,
Shamuhammet Akmyradov were members of the "Council of Wise Men"
and fair judges in the first qualifying game of the IV season of the
wisdom competition.
According to the results of the competition, the winners were Ihlas
Agoyliev, a 12th-grade student of Ashgabat city's 49th secondary school,
which teaches in-depth English and mathematics subjects, and Arzuv
Shykhyev, a 12th-grade student of secondary school 24, specialized in
foreign languages in Dashoguz city, Dashoguz velayat.
The Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of
Turkmenistan and the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan
sponsored the 1st qualifying game of the 4th season of the wisdom
competition. Winners and contestants were awarded souvenirs
prepared by sponsors. The winners, as well as all participants in the
intellectual competition, were presented with memorable gifts from the
project sponsors.
The 1st qualifying game of the 4th season of the intelligence
competition "Young Messengers of Peace" was recorded by the State
Committee for Television, Radio Communications and Cinematography
of Turkmenistan together with the TV and radio station "Miras" and the
educational studio of the Institute of International Relations of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The competition will be
televised on "Miras" TV in the coming days.
