Special training for international investment arbitration
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to take the necessary steps to improve the training of specialists. The modernization of our national legislation today is, "The state is for the people!" Relevant work is underway to ensure a reliable legal framework for social policy under the slogan.
At the suggestion of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan jointly with the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Institute of International Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and International university for the Humanities and development, attends young law teachers and 4-5 year students studying law.
The training sessions scheduled for October 2021 - May 2022, experts from the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan, the International Center for Investment Dispute Settlement, appointed by Turkmenistan on behalf of arbitrators, international lawyers, local law companies lawyers, experienced lecturers they conduct in English and Turkmen language.
The course on international investment arbitration focuses on in-depth study of international arbitration doctrine, international and national legal frameworks, experience gained in international arbitration proceedings as a party to Turkmenistan, and the legal and theoretical foundations of international investment arbitration and international arbitration. Concepts such as jurisdiction, the stages of arbitration proceedings, the establishment of a tribunal, the financing of cases, the accumulation of evidence, the preparation for a judicial session, and a judicial session are studied.
The purpose of this course is to improve the education of young lawyers in our country, to improve their skills and to further strengthen the legal framework in our country.
