A Scientific-Practical Conference Held on the Occasion of the International Neutrality Day
On December 9, 2024, a scientific-practical conference titled "Neutrality Policy in International Relations – Theoretical and Practical Experience" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan dedicated to the International Neutrality Day. The conference consisted of a plenary session and thematic sections titled: "Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality Policy – A Guarantee of Peace and Stability in the Region and the World", "Permanent Neutrality: The Foundation of Peaceful and Humanitarian Values", "The Role of Turkmenistan's Neutrality Policy in Establishing International Economic Relations", “Turkmen Neutrality – The Basis of Peace, Stability, and Equal Partnership". The event was attended by professors, lecturers, and students from the country's higher education institutions, as well as active members of the School of Young Diplomats, including school students.
During the scientific-practical conference, the significance of Turkmenistan's status of permanent neutrality, which forms the core of the state’s foreign policy under the wise leadership of the esteemed President, was especially emphasized. Speakers proudly highlighted that the Turkmen people's great humanitarian traditions and peaceful philosophy trace back to ancient times. At the conclusion of the conference, participants expressed their wishes for the health and well-being of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as for the continued success of Hero Arkadag, who tirelessly strive to promote peace, friendship, and prosperity worldwide.
