INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ARABIC LANGUAGE
The United Nations has celebrated the International Arabic Language Day since 2010. On the eve of International Mother Language Day, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs offered to celebrate each of the six official languages of the organization. The proposal is expected to contribute to the development of intercultural dialogue and the multilingual world.
December 18, in the International Calendar is elected as International Arabic Language Day. On this day in 1973, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Arabic as one of the official languages of the United Nations.
At present, the number of Arabic-speaking people is about 400 million. For centuries, the Arabic language has been constantly changing due to the pronunciation of consonant sounds.
Arabic is one of the official languages of the UN General Assembly and some other UN organizations. The official language of all Arab countries, as well as one of the official languages of Israel, Eritrea, Chad, Somalia, and Djibouti, is Arabic.
As our esteemed President emphasizes: "Our main task in the period of prosperity of our sovereign state is to further improve the quality of education", since the impeccable study of world languages is one of the key conditions for the development of the national system of science and education.
Learning a language improves your memory. It helps to improve social relationships and develop cognitive abilities.
