“ Erasmus+’’ Programme
On December 16, 2022, a presentation event of the ‘’Erasmus+’’ Programme of the EU was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to highlight the issues of mobility and international cooperation in the field of education. The event was attended by the teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Ayna Chorekliyeva, coordinator of the “Erasmus+’’ Programme of the EU in Turkmenistan spoke in detail about the activities of this programme as well as this educational program for the years from 2021 to 2027 of the ‘’Erasmus +’’ Programme offers quality training courses for local teachers in Europe through culture and the exchange of teaching ideas in high educational Institutions.
Moreover, she explained in detail to the participants the functions, priorities and opportunities of the upcoming “Erasmus+’’ programme for 2023, and as well as the Erasmus Mundus for MA students and “Jean Monnet” Module for getting acquainted with the advanced experience of the EU. At the end of the event , some questions were considered to be discussed about this programme. The coordinator emphasized once more the opportunities of this programme and exchanged views on further cooperation in the field of education between Institute of International relations MFA and “Erasmus+’’ programme.
As it is known, the EU has a great potential in bringing up highly qualified young specialties in Europe and international cooperation which is based on 25 years of experience. “Erasmus+’’ Programme of the EU is intended to train qualified specialists, to develop programs for the country's scientific and educational system, to provide technical assistance to the higher educational institutions, to attract new participants to the labor markets according to the modern approaches of the world and most importantly to stimulate the creation of new ideas and to strengthen bilateral agreements in educational spheres.
At the end of the event, interesting views were exchanged between teachers, students and coordinator. The event was of importance and a good opportunity for students to get acquainted with the prospects and activities for further cooperation between “Erasmus+’’ Programme of the EU and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
