A FESTIVE CONFERENCE:"NEUTRALITY IS THE FUNDAMENTAL BASIS OF THE STATE POLICY OF TURKMENISTAN" WAS HELD
On February 16, 2026 a festive conference entitled "Neutrality is the Fundamental Basis of the State Policy of Turkmenistan" on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, jointly with with the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan. Representatives of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, experienced diplomats, professors, faculty members and students of the institute attended in it.
At this festive conference, G.Yusupova, the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Chinar Rustemova, Hero of Turkmenistan, responsible secretary of Turkmenistan’s national commission on the affairs of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), K.Amandurdyev, the deputy chair of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, Yagmyr Nuryev, the director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Law, Sh. Shiriyev, director of the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan made their speeches.
The speakers emphasized that Turkmen diplomacy makes a significant contribution to strengthening ties of friendship and trust on the global stage. The outstanding role of the far-sighted policy of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar particularly noted international initiatives aimed at constructively resolving pressing global problems of our time – from environmental safety to economic development.
A special highlight of the forum was the awarding of outstanding diplomats who made a significant contribution to the development of the Turkmen diplomatic school, as well as teachers and professors of the Institute. They were presented valuable gifts from the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan. The conference program concluded with an awards ceremony for the winners and runners-up of the creative competition “Bedew batly döwrüň bagtly ýaşlary” organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Winners of the annual subject Olympiads held among university students with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan also received well-deserved awards.
At the end of the conference, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating the conditions for the comprehensive development of Turkmen diplomacy and the realization of the scientific and educational potential of young people.
