Training Session Held by an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Turkmenistan
On December 13, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Turkmenistan Jemal Beker Abdulla conducted a training session on the Turkmen-Ethiopian relations. Students and teachers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in the training session.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Turkmenistan gave a lecture about the history of Ethiopia and the Turkmen-Ethiopian relations in the bilateral and multilateral format. In addition, the Ambassador talked about politico-diplomatic, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian sectors of bilateral relations, and also main priorities of the Turkmen-Ethiopian multilateral relations in the field of International organizations.
As we know, the diplomatic relations between friendly nations were established in 2015. Since then the Turkmen-Ethiopian fraternal relations are increasingly developed and broadened day by day. In the field of multilateral relations, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia supports the international initiatives of Turkmenistan aimed to contribute the international peace, security and sustainable development in the sessions of the General Assembly of the UN.
The training course greatly assisted the future diplomats studying at the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy to learn international relations and diplomacy in the practice as well.
