Lecture within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals
On November 24, 2022, a lecture dedicated to gender equality within framework of Sustainable Development Goals was held at the Institute of International relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The students and lecturers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and International University for the Humanities and Development participated in this lecture.
The lecture was given by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Great Britain to Turkmenistan Lucie Wilde as well as via digital system Social development adviser at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) Jessie Kirk also joined this lecture. The lecture was in the form of interaction. The issues focused on the such topics as gender equality, the role of women and men in society in the framework of the activities of Sustainable Development Goals were considered to be discussed while the lecture. The issues, touched upon on above topics were of importance for participants of this lecture.
At the end of the lecture interesting views were exchanged between students, lecturers and British representatives.
