Intellectual Competition Dedicated to International Children’s Day
On May 30, 2026, the Department of World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized a “Brain-Ring” competition among first-year students to mark International Children’s Day.
The questions in this highly significant intellectual contest focused primarily on the history and significance of International Children’s Day. According to the regulations, teams comprising 6 students from each faculty first introduced their team names in English. Following a draw to determine the order of play, the competition officially commenced.
During the intensely contested and engaging event, the students demonstrated their resourcefulness and keen interest in this important date by providing accurate and comprehensive answers to each question.
Based on the final results of the competition, the winners were determined as follows: the 1st Place: The “Messengers” team of the Faculty of International Relations; the 2nd Place: The “Young Lawyers” team of the Faculty of International Law; the 3rd Place: The “Future Journalists” team of the Faculty of International Journalism and the “Voice of Youth” team of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
This competition provided an excellent opportunity for student youth to broaden their horizons and enhance their knowledge regarding the history of International Children’s Day, as well as international and national laws and regulations concerning children’s rights.
