WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY
Every year on August 19, photographers from different countries celebrate the World Day of Photography. This day was approved in 2009 at the suggestion of the Australian photographer Korske Ara. And also, in honor of the discovery on August 9, 1839 by the French chemist Louis Dagger of the process of obtaining an image on a photosensitive plate. About this, on the same year after 10 days on August 19, the government of France officially announced.
Previously, photography was considered a miracle, a unique magic, and photographers had no margin for error. People were waiting for their photo, printing took more than one day, and it was possible to take a photo only in a photo studio. But now the snapshot is something mundane, effortless. One click on the button and the photo is ready. You can take a million frame and then choose the best one. More than 30 years after the invention of photography, Scottish physicist James Maxwell managed to make a new breakthrough in this area – to get the world's first color photography. And in 1981, the company “SONY” invented digital cameras, which served as a high development of the art of photography.
Nowadays photography has become an art, going far beyond the truthful and reliable recording of an event at the push of a button. In order to take a beautiful modern photo, you need to know all the technical and creative capabilities of your camera, which is a complex technical device. And also be able to choose the right lighting and background, have knowledge of color science, posing, photo processing in the “Photoshop” program.
To mark the day of photography is best, of course, with a photo session, giving yourself unforgettable photographs. In addition, on this holiday, you can also visit photo exhibitions, which are arranged by various photographers or photo studios. In many countries, master classes from professional photographers, as well as various seminars and flash mobs, are held for this day.
