Fundamental Human Rights were discussed at the Institute of International Relations
Seventy-three years ago, on the day, a universal declaration on freedom and human rights was adopted. The Declaration was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 10, in Paris 1948 as a document, the principles set forth in which all peoples and countries are obliged to follow.
General Assembly proclaims this Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a task to which all peoples and states should strive, so that every person and every member of society, with this Declaration in mind at all times, endeavors, through enlightenment and education, to promote respect for these rights and freedom and, through national and international progressive measures, universal and effective recognition and implementation of them both among the peoples of the Organization's member states and among the peoples of the territories under their jurisdiction.
On this historic day, in different parts of our country, they demonstrate fundamental human rights and freedoms. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) conducts online courses for law students, teachers of higher educational institutions give lectures for secondary school students, fundamental human rights must be respected, that the privacy of every person is inviolable, everyone has the right to freedom of thought and freedom of speech. In particular, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, under the guidance of the teachers of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law, a lecture was given to high school students, on the international day of fundamental human rights and freedoms, questions such as: Where did human rights come from? How did they come to this day? How did human rights evolve? Why is privacy inviolable? All these and other issues were discussed in a warm company with secondary school students, students of the Faculty of International Law also actively participated, which gave them an advantage in explaining fundamental human rights and freedom to students.
Today is a historic day, on this day a resolution on human rights and freedom was adopted, 73 years have passed since the need for fundamental human rights and freedom still on the agenda with its significance, it is necessary to be noted that for the first time in the history of mankind a document was adopted that proclaimed the need to protect fundamental rights of people, the declaration was also translated into 500 languages of the world.
