TRAINING SEMINAR ON THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN JOURNALISM
On June 3, 2026, the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a training seminar titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Contemporary Progress” in the training studio of the Institute. The professors and students of the Institute participated in the seminar.
During the seminar the participants delivered presentations on the significance of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of Journalism. The session was featured by videos and a short documentary film prepared by students, which represented the key role and the essence of AI, as well as its practical application in contemporary television and editing processes. This seminar provided an excellent opportunity for the young international journalists to exchange ideas and discuss innovative methods of applying AI in their professional practice. The students took an active part in Q&A session, receiving insightful answers from the professors, to the questions regarding of their interests.
The seminar, aimed at interpreting the role of AI during the era of rapid progress and transformations, is considered to be highly impressive. At the end of the seminar, the active participants were wished great success in the field of their profession. Participants expressed their profound gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the great opportunities created for young international journalists to acquire knowledge and stay in step with the most advanced technologies all over the world.
