Seminars held on Journalism
On March 15, 2021, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan started conducting video courses on new media, digital journalism and media literacy for instructors of journalism in higher educational institutions of the country. The instructors of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as representatives of the British Embassy in Turkmenistan and the IWPR project on Central Asia, well-known journalists and experts in journalism – Adam Tinwort, Alexander Gorokhovsky, Marat Mamadshoyev, Tara Todres-Wadehil, Timur Toktonaliyev, Dyzzodovych Dovyazodovyov, Aizada Toma, Dilmorod Yusupov, Ilýa Pechishev. The seminar is held from March 15 to March 19 via video telecommunication system. The impact of digital technology on the media, which is growing at a very fast pace and is constantly evolving into human life, was discussed during the course of the seminar.
