Regional Workshop «Women, Peace, and Security»
On May 27-28, 2025, a regional workshop on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution «Women, Peace, and Security», organized by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, was held in Ashgabat, at “Yyldyz” hotel.
The regional workshop was attended by the representatives of law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Finances and Economics of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the Hyakimliks of Ashgabat city and Akhal Velayat, the State Border Guard Service of Turkmenistan, the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the Office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, the Union of Women of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Youth Organization, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the mass media, as well as lecturers of Magtymguly State University, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The workshop participants discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the framework of the implementation of the Resolution «Women, Peace, and Security».
