A METHODOLOGICAL SEMINAR WAS HELD
On September 17, 2026, an educational and methodological seminar on the topic “Neutrality of Turkmen diplomacy” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in accordance with the plan of events held at our institute during the academic year. The seminar was devoted to a more detailed explanation and popularization of the historical significance of the lecture delivered by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and HeroArkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the Ruhyyet Palace in the city of Arkadag, on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth and the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year. This methodological seminar was conducted by Aksoltan Ataýewa, Head of the Department of Peace and Neutrality of our institute, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, master diplomat of Turkmenistan, Hero of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Candidate of Medical Sciences. Professors, faculty members and students of all higher education institutions of our country participated in it.
During the methodological seminar, Aksoltan Ataýewa, Head of the Department of Peace and Neutrality, spoke in detail about the history of Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality, historical resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly, and the vital initiatives put forward by our state in the international arena and the socio-political life of the world for the sake of a happy and prosperous life for humanity.
In conclusion, Aksoltan Atayeva expressed her gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and to our esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, for the works being carried out to strengthen our Motherland’s legal status of permanent neutrality.
