THE WINNERS OF THE YOUNG SCIENTIST’S COMPETITION WERE AWARDED PRESIDENTIAL CERTIFICATES
On June 12, 2023, the award ceremony for the winners of the competition among young scientists, held jointly by the Academy of Sciences and the Central Council of the Mahtumkuli Youth organization, took place today in the conference hall of the Oguzkhan University of Engineering and technology. According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, more than a thousand young scientists presented their projects and theoretical research in the field of natural Sciences and Humanities. Special attention is paid to such areas as nanotechnology, energy, biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information and communication systems, computer technologies, modern production of medical and medicinal products, and innovative digital economy. The expert jury determined 67 winners of the competition based on several criteria: the theoretical significance of the submitted works, scientific novelty, relevance in terms of practical implementation and prospects for implementation in production. The award ceremony was attended by members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, higher educational institutions, scientists, representatives of public organizations, teaching staff and University students, doctoral students and postgraduates of the Academy of Sciences.
At the beginning of the event, the participants listened to the congratulations of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to the winners of the scientific competition. Competitive nanotechnologies, chemical technologies, new materials research and energy; biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics; information and communication systems, computer technologies; modern medical and drug production technologies; innovative economy; conducted in areas advanced in science, such as the humanities. Out of a large number of entries, 67 won.
The annual review of scientific papers contributes to the development of domestic science and the expansion of research activities of the young generation of Turkmen scientists. Within the framework of cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovative technologies, in order to improve their skills and exchange experience, young specialists are regularly sent on business trips to leading scientific and educational centers abroad.
During the event, a festive concert was held by music groups of higher education institutions. At the end of the event, its participants adopted their Appeal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
